You can get a new password by clicking the “Forgot Password?” link on the Bayt.com log in page.
You’ll now be taken to a page where you can enter the e-mail address you used to register. We will then send you an e-mail with a link to reset your password. If you don’t receive the e-mail, check your spam folder. The link in the e-mail will expire after 48 hours or upon first successful attempt to change the password.
Don’t worry if you forgot your username, you can simply use your email address instead of the username when logging in.
Make sure you choose a stronger password that is hard to crack:
1. Use a mix of numbers, letters and symbols.
2. Avoid using dictionary words or names in any form. Any word or common name can be guessed by hackers’ programs. Dictionary words are any common words, names, dates, or number, including words in foreign languages.
3. Don't use common misspellings of dictionary words (including replacing "l" with "1" and “a” with “@”).
4. Don't use any part of your name in the password. This can be too easy to guess.
5. A password should be between 8 and 16 characters. The longer your password is, the harder it is to crack.
6. Do not use simple patterns like abCDEFG, or keyboard sequences like qwertyUI. Simple patterns and sequences are easy to crack.
Remember, you should never give your password to anyone for any reason.
